Company Profile

Homestead Comforts is a small custom quilting business owned and operated by two sisters residing in Bucks County, PA.  As small children, we watched and learned as our grandmother and mother carefully pieced and quilted beautiful heirloom quality quilts from scraps of fabric.  Following in their footsteps, we each learned to sew for enjoyment and satisfaction.  Over the years, quilt designing and construction has changed from one of need and function to an art form which brings warmth and comfort to our contemporary homes.  We have a passion to bring this artistry to your home in a very personal way, by offering home décor pieces that are designed with you in mind.

We have many designs of wall hangings, table toppers and pillows that we can color coordinate with your home décor and needs.  See our samples by clicking on the Products button.  These also make wonderful gifts for a house warming, wedding,  birthday gift, or to commemorate other special occasions.

Homestead Comforts offers many options for nursery décor or baby gifts.  We can color coordinate with any nursery design.  Also take note of our Bugs in a Bottle design; this a fun quilt that is bound to stir interest from any infant.  There are also many other ‘novelty’ patterns available upon request.

Our premier product, Photo Fabric Art, offers a unique way for you to mix your favorite pictures with the warmth of a quilting.   You provide us with your digital images and your thoughts on theme and color, and we’ll create a beautiful wall hanging for you or your gift recipient to display.  Similar to scrap booking, your pictures will be tastefully arranged and surrounded with lovely prints that enhance their beauty.  Unlike a book, you'll never need to close the cover!  We can even add personal touches and memorabilia if you like.  Please note that there are many options for design based upon theme and décor other than those shown.  We can also make pillows from your portraits which make wonderful gifts for students and grandparents.
